The composition of Aluminium 1070 is defined by its remarkable purity, containing at least 99.7% aluminium. This translates into a set of unique mechanical properties. While it is a relatively soft and ductile alloy, it exhibits excellent thermal and electrical conductivity. It cannot be heat-treated to increase strength but gains its hardness and strength through strain-hardening methods.
